Gallo Ward, a New Creative Studio Focused on Property, Hospitality, Architecture and the Arts

Gallo Ward is a new boutique creative studio located in New York’s Meatpacking District, dedicated to advancing and refining original thought for clients operating within architecture, property, hospitality, and the arts.

Gallo Ward’s core offerings are branding, marketing, and strategic positioning — marrying high design sensibilities with over 30 years of combined experience

in luxury marketing to tailor unique creative solutions.

Co-founder Annette Gallo was most recently the Chief Marketing O icer at Warburg Realty, while Co-founder Craig Ward headed the Design Department of Grey’s New York flagship, and went on to run his own highly awarded independent studio working with the likes of Calvin Klein, Dior, Aesop, Nike, Mulberry, and myriad others. Most recently, Ward - a British national – designed the custom typeface for the 2018 England World Cup kit— an honor bestowed on only two other designers in its history.

“I instantly fell in love with the art of real estate,” says Annette Gallo. “It was surprising to find very little storytelling and creative insight when it came to property and hospitality. When Craig and I met, we instantly bonded over this need and decided to launch Gallo Ward.”

“That more craftsmanship and creative thought goes into selling a $30 bottle of perfume than a line of $6 million apartments baffled me,” says Ward. “We see a real opportunity to disrupt the formulaic approach that has been established, and to open the industry up to approaches and best-practices found within other luxury markets.”

With their collective executive level experience, both client and agency side, Gallo and Ward are building their business from scratch, and though the ink is still drying on the LLC, they are already working on high-profile projects for the Meatpacking District Association, a large scale public arts project for Diller Scofidio + Renfro, a new luxury offering in upstate New York for Lang Architecture and refining the brand for Pembrooke & Ives.

On the horizon, Gallo Ward is also teaming up with creative technologists to spearhead a proprietary technology to produce interior renderings and will be launching an innovative quarterly publication, Ground Below, dedicated to the business and craft of the arts, hospitality, architecture, and real property.
