NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Rockefeller Capital Management today announced that Brian C. McK. Henderson has joined the firm as a Senior Advisor. Henderson, drawing on more than four decades of experience in the financial services industry, will help advise Rockefeller in its expansion and evolution. Rockefeller offers wealth management, asset management and strategic advisory to institutional clients and companies as well as ultra- and high-net-worth individuals and family offices.

“Brian has a great track record of success managing senior, international client relationships, in public and private sectors alike,” said Gregory J. Fleming, President and Chief Executive Officer. “He is a valuable addition to our growing Rockefeller team, and will be an important business development advisor as we look to manage more client assets, across more geographies.”

In addition to his new role as a Senior Advisor to Rockefeller, Henderson is the founding partner of Henderson International Advisors, LLC, which he started in April 2014.

Henderson spent most of his career with Merrill Lynch, where he held a variety of senior roles over 23 years, including as Director of Communications, Merrill Lynch Capital Markets; Senior Vice President, Merrill Lynch International; and Executive Assistant to the Chairman and President. He was also on the boards of Prime Merrill SpA (Italy) and Merrill Lynch South Africa. He is on the advisory board of the Spanish law firm Cremades & Calvo Sotelo. Henderson also serves on many not-for-profit boards, and was previously on the Ethics and Policy Committee of the DDC for the First Judicial Department, Supreme Court Appellate Division, State of New York. He is a graduate of Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.

Since the launch of Rockefeller Capital Management in March 2018, the firm has appointed seven new senior executives and two senior advisors inclusive of Henderson. John “Jack” Brennan and Lord Paul Myners have joined the Board of Directors.
