NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Napa River Insurance Services, Inc. (Napa River), the third‐party administrator (TPA) wholly‐owned by Hudson Insurance Group (Hudson), today announced the appointment of Peter Mazurek as Director of Marketing & TPA Operations. In this new position, Mr. Mazurek is responsible for overseeing claim and risk management services across Napa River’s transportation, healthcare and public entity business segments.

Mr. Mazurek brings more than 20 years of experience to Napa River. He most recently served as Vice President of Operations & Business Development at Innova Claims Management LLC, which he joined after the successful sale of Specialty Claims Management, LLC.

In addition to Mr. Mazurek, Carlos Lopez joined Napa River as Claim Manager for Transportation.

Mr. Lopez has 15 years of insurance claims handling and leadership experience across multiple lines of business. Prior to joining Napa River, he was Claims Supervisor at Protective Insurance. He holds the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter and Senior Claims Law Associate designations. Both Mr. Mazurek and Mr. Lopez are based in Napa River’s Indianapolis office.

Napa River has experienced 58% growth in its transportation business alone during the past two calendar years. Mr. Mazurek added, “I’m excited by what Napa River has accomplished in a short time frame and look forward to growing this business and expanding our team.”
