Cushman & Wakefield Named Most Active Brokerage in Westchester County by BOMA

Firm enters the Building Owners & Managers Association Hall of Honor for 2018

The Building Owners & Managers Association of Westchester County (BOMA) has recognized commercial real estate services firm, Cushman & Wakefield with the Most Active Brokerage Firm Award for their transaction activity in 2017. The award will be presented to the firm at the Building Owners and Managers Association of Westchester’s 27th Annual Hall of Honor Awards dinner on Thursday, May 10, 2018.

Lead by Jim Fagan, Managing Principal, Westchester and Connecticut Market Leader, the firm completed 63 leasing transactions totaling 456,595 square feet and 15 investment sales transactions totaling over $100 million in Westchester County in 2017. Notable leasing transactions in 2017 include a 35,163 square foot lease to Brain & Spine at 4 Westchester Park Drive and the finalization of NY Life Insurance’s 102,634 square-foot lease at 44 South Broadway in White Plains. Investment sales transactions include the sale of the 412,899 square-foot property at 555 & 660 White Plains Road in Tarrytown and 80-100 Grass Lands Road in Elmsford, which sold for $15,900,000.

Additionally, Cushman & Wakefield was involved in Mast-Jägermeister’s new lease at 10 Bank Street in White Plains, which BOMA is acknowledging with the Best Tenant Fit Out Award this year. Jay Hruska and Skip Lane of Cushman & Wakefield represented Sidney Frank Importing Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mast-Jägermeister, in the 30,000 square-foot, 10-year lease last February.
