Stellar Management, one of New York City’s premier owners and operators of real estate, today announced that Imagine Swimming has signed a 7,000-square foot, 10-year lease at The Paris New York (The Paris), located at 752 West End Avenue. This will be Imagine’s second time partnering with Stellar, having opened its first Flagship location in 2010 at Independence Plaza in TriBeCa.
Spread across Manhattan and Brooklyn, Imagine Swimming currently has 14 locations welcoming over 4,000 children a week. They will serve as the pool’s operator, offering lessons to the entire community. Before opening later this year, the space will undergo a series of capital improvements – Imagine plans to build storefront entrance with swim shop and stroller parking, remodel all locker rooms and add seating areas, in addition to a complete pool renovation. Residents of The Paris will receive discounts on swim memberships and lessons once the pool is open.
“When we acquired The Paris New York – previously the Hotel Paris - in 2016, it was our hope to bring the pool back into operation for the residents and community,” said Adam Roman, Chief Operating Officer and a principal at Stellar Management. “This pool was a popular fixture on the Upper West Side for many years, and we know that with the help of Imagine Swimming it will once again serve as an amenity to the area.”

Along with the swimming pool, the building features a 16,000-square-foot fitness facility – West End Fitness NYC – with a separate entrance, 24-hour attended lobby and on-site maintenance. Additionally, extensive lobby renovations and amenity additions are nearly complete at the building.
Select apartments showcase views of the New York City skyline and/or Hudson River and the newly renovated units have been designed with large, open layouts with premium finishes, including wide-plank white oak flooring, bathrooms in statuary marble or mosaic tile, and custom cerused oak cabinetry in the kitchens.
Howard J. Kesseler Jr., Executive Managing Director at Newmark Knight Frank (NKF) represented the tenant while Stellar Management handled the brokerage internally.
Situated in one of the most prominent areas of New York City, the building’s neighborhood consists of numerous casual and fine dining options, prime retail, and is near well-known venues such as Lincoln Center and the American Museum of Natural History. In addition, residents enjoy a close proximity to Riverside Park and Central Park – both featuring playgrounds, bike paths and other outdoor activity options. The well-located building is close to the West Side Highway and within a block of the 1, 2, and 3 subway lines at 96th Street.
