Nicole Liebman arranges lease for Salon 718 at 60 Furman Street unit; previously brought PO Yoga to Chic Boutique Hotel Brand

Nicole Liebman, Director, HUDSON has arranged the newest lease for contemporary stylist 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge, 60 Furman Street, between Adams Street and the Brooklyn Promenade. It is the second retail-amenity tenant she has brought to the boutique hotel’s DUMBO location, following a lease arranged earlier this year for Poe Yoga.

“The 1 Hotel was included in the prestigious Condé Nast Travelers’ ‘Hottest Hotels’ list,” points out Ms. Liebman. “This is an elevated hospitality brand for which strategic curation is important. The brands need to fit the eco-luxury vibe of the hotel and guests, as well as offer popular services for the neighborhood.”

The new lease represents the fourth location for the Brooklyn-focused hair styling chain, following Prospect Heights, Fort Greene and Clinton Hill. The rapidly expanding 1 Hotel flag also has units in Midtown Manhattan and one in South Beach, FL, with others planned for California, China and Mexico.

Ms. Liebman represented both the tenant and landlord, Starwood Capital and Toll Brothers. In addition, Chris Havens of Terra CRG worked with her on behalf of the landlord. The asking rent for the 903-square-foot space was $85-per-square-foot.
