Denville-based law firm Einhorn, Harris, Ascher, Barbarito & Frost, P.C. is pleased to announce that Partner Bonnie C. Frost has been recognized with an Amicus Curiae award from the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA). Frost was presented with the award at the NJSBA’s Annual Meeting and Convention on May 16.

Frost was honored for her pro bono participation in an amicus committee in the matter of Snyder v. Snyder, in which she offered her family law knowledge and insight to help the New Jersey Supreme Court with determining the qualifications and responsibilities of a fiscal agent in a matrimonial dispute.

Through the pro bono efforts of members, the NJSBA enjoys a reputation with the New Jersey Supreme Court for meaningful, thoughtful intervention in matters that have the potential to broadly affect the practice of law.

NJSBA President Robert Hille (2017-2018) said it was an honor to recognize the association’s volunteers. “Every year, our members give thousands of hours of their time to advance the mission of the association in our legislative and amicus advocacy, in community service projects and in service to the profession,” he said.

Frost joined Einhorn Harris in 1985. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Douglass College at Rutgers University, her Masters and Ed.S. from Rutgers University, and her Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law. Following law school, Frost clerked for the Honorable Robert Muir, Jr.

Most recently, Frost was selected by the New Jersey State Bar Association as the 2016 Clapp Excellence in CLE Award winner, acknowledging Frost’s volunteer work in educating the profession through the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education. In addition, Frost was selected as the 2012 Recipient of the Saul Tischler Award by the New Jersey State Bar Association Family Law Section, recognizing her significant and substantial lifetime achievements and contributions to family law.
