DLA Piper is proud to announce that Chair of the FDA Practice group, James Czaban, was recognized with a 2018 Law360 Distinguished Legal Writing Award by the Burton Awards for Legal Achievement.

This year marks the 19th annual Burton Awards, a non-profit program, which is run in association with the Library of Congress, presented by lead sponsor Law360, and co-sponsored by the American Bar Association. Czaban was recognized for his article "Setting the Stage- A Brief History of FDA Regulation of Precision Medicine, and a Glimpse to it’s Possible Future," which was published in the Journal of Precision Medicine.

Recipients of the distinguished legal writing award were selected from nominations by managing partners from the 1,000 largest US law firms. Czaban received the recognition at an awards ceremony held on May 21 at the Library of Congress.
