Buccini/Pollin Receives $36.5M Loan to Refinance Westin Wilmington

6/1/18

Working on behalf of the Delaware based development and management company Buccini/Pollin Group (BPG), NKF Capital Markets has secured a $36.5 million loan for the refinance of the Westin Wilmington, a 180 room full service hotel on Wilmington’s riverfront. The NKF Capital Markets’ team was led by Jordan Roeschlaub and Dustin Stolly, vice chairmen and co-heads of debt and structured finance, along with Managing Directors Nick Scribani and Chris Kramer. The loan was arranged through Goldman Sachs and Quadrant Real Estate Advisors on behalf of BPG. The hotel is connected to the Chase Center, the premier convention center and largest special event facility in the Brandywine Valley with more than 87,000 square feet of meeting space. The full-service Marriott franchise built in 2014 features spacious guestrooms and approximately 5,870 square feet of meeting space, along with a restaurant and lounge, legal center, indoor pool and fitness center.

Strategically located along the Riverfront District of Wilmington, the Property is just 30 minutes south of Philadelphia and mid-point between New York and Washington DC. The Property is one of the newest hotels in the Wilmington market, and is considered one of the top two hotels in Wilmington, along with the Hotel DuPont, also owned and operated by BPG. NKF declined to provide comment.
