Jaros, Baum & Bolles (JB&B) is pleased to announce that its Associate Partner Brian Towers has been named New Principal of the Year 2018 by the American Council of Engineering Companies of New York (ACEC New York). Each spring, the organization selects a new or recently promoted principal who fosters innovation and has made significant contributions to the consulting engineering profession as well as to the community. Towers will be formally honored at the 2018 Annual Meeting held on June 6, 2018, at the Union League Club.

A Team and Community Builder

In his role with JB&B, acting as Partner-in-Charge, Project Manager and Electrical Lead ona wide variety of building types and market sectors, Towers works with clients to deliver state-of-the-art designs that meet their detailed requirements and budgets. He has playeda lead role in recruiting full-time employees, interns and cooperative education students from colleges and universities throughout the area. Outside of work, Mr. Towers is active in his children’s school and is an avid runner. As a member of the New York Road Runners, he participates in at least 15 races a year to raise money for charitable organizations and has made the Polar Bear Plunge in support of the New Jersey Special Olympics.
