KBS of Newport Beach, California is proud to announce that Building E of Woodbridge Corporate Plaza won The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) Award in the Renovated Building category in the BOMA New Jersey TOBY Awards. The prestigious award is well known amongst the commercial real estate industry, and recognizes the quality in commercial buildings and management.
Woodbridge Corporate Plaza is a six-building campus located at the intersection of Route 1 and the Garden State Parkway in Iselin. Building E, a four-story, 113,013-square-foot building within the complex, has undergone significant renovations over the past few years. Renovations include elevator modernization, HVAC unit replacements, a roof replacement, lobby, restroom and corridor renovations, café upgrades and a fitness center.
Planned, future renovations include tying in the common area VAV (variable air volume) boxes and baseboard electric heating units to the BMS (building management system), and to upgrade the fire sprinkler standpipe system for future expansion.
