Mr. Elkins moderated a prestigious panel of real estate professionals covering multiple topics and entitled: “Why We Never Stood A Chance: Amazon's HQ2, A Market Evaluation, How To Score HQ3, Our 5-Year Vision, What It Takes To Get There.”
The panelists examined the strengths and weaknesses of the city and concluded that while Houston may have fallen short in the eyes of Amazon, the strong economic drivers fueled by the City’s energy, medical and port facilities, together with its land availability, population growth and low cost of living, will continue to be very attractive to companies who choose to invest in the region.
