CBRE Announces Recent Manhattan Office Leasing Deals Under 15,000 SF

CBRE announced today the firm’s latest under-15,000-square-foot office leasing transactions in Manhattan.

Tenant Representation

CBRE’s Laurence Briody, Peter Gamber and Manny Fitzgerald represented International Rescue Committee, Inc. in a 10,000-square-foot lease for the entire sixth floor at 263 West 38th Street. The term is seven years and the landlord was represented by Richard Farley of Handler Enterprises.

CBRE’s Tim Freydberg represented Talisen Construction Corporation in a 7,080-square-foot expansion and renewal lease at 213 West 35th Street for part of the 13th floor for a five-year term. Owner Justin Management was represented in-house by Adam Justin.

CBRE’s Dorothy Chuang, Jonathan Cope and Paul Walker represented Mega International Commercial Bank Ltd. in a 6,993-square-foot lease for part of the 21st floor at 120 Broadway for a three-year term. Owner Silverstein Properties was represented in-house by Joseph Artusa, Camille McGratty and Roger A. Silverstein.

CBRE’s Sam Mann, Snezana Anderson, Bernhard Weinstabel and Clyde Reetz represented Mustela in a 6,529-square-foot renewal and expansion at 60 East 56th Streetfor the entire sixth floor for an eight-year term. Owner Richard Zirinsky was represented by Paul Ippolito of NKF.

CBRE’s Michael Monahan, Mark Ravesloot and Scott Sloves represented NFP Corp. in a 6,297-square-foot lease expansion for part of the 13th floor at 40 Wall Street for a term of six years. Owner Trump Properties was represented by Frank Cento of C&W.

CBRE’s Laurence Briody, Lauren Crowley Corrinet and Robert Wizenberg represented Gutmacher Institute in a 6,163-square-foot lease expansion at 125 Maiden Lane for part of the 16th floor for a five-year term. Owner Time Equities was represented in-house by Nadja Galloway.

CBRE’s Adam Leshowitz represented Resy Networks Inc. in a 5,500-square-foot lease expansion at 520 Broadway for the entire seventh floor. The lease term is for six years. Owner Propp, Mortimer J./Emesco Corporation was represented Morgan Feldman, Antony Sciacca and Robert Silver of NKF.

CBRE’s James C. Ackerson, Sinclair Li and Craig Reicher represented Warshaw Blumenthal Inc. in a 5,092-square-foot renewal at 215 Park Avenue South for part of the 20th floor. The lease term is for five years. Owner SL Green Realty Corporation was represented in-house by Gary M. Rosen and Howard J. Tenenbaum.

Landlord Representation

CBRE’s Laurence Briody and Brian Gell represented owner Park Tower Group in a 14,765-square-foot lease with Bain Capital, LLC at 535 Madison Avenue for the entire 29th floor. The lease term is for 16 years. The tenant was represented by Brian Goldman and Matt Lorberbaum of NKF.

CBRE’s Howard Fiddle, Adam Foster, Caroline Merck, Zac Price and Michael Rizzo represented owner Equity Office in an 11,734-square-foot lease with Joan Creative for part of the 10th floor at 44 Wall Street. The tenant was represented by CJ Heitner, Howard Hersch and Doug Kauffman of JLL.

CBRE’s Jonathan Cope, Brad Gerla and Caroline Merck represented owner Harbor Group International in a 10,137-square-foot lease with Seven Stars Cloud Group Inc. for part of the 19th floor at 55 Broadway. The lease term is for seven years. The tenant was represented by Alan Rosinsky of Metro Manhattan Office Space.

CBRE’s Timothy Dempsey and Jared London represented sublandlord Cornerstone Research in an 8,168-square-foot sublease with HelmsleySpear for the entire 44th floor of599 Lexington Avenue. The lease term is for two years. The tenant was represented in-house by Scott Bloom.

CBRE’s Joseph Mangiacotti and Paul Walker represented owner BLDG Management Corp. in an 8,160-square-foot lease with Desman Inc. for part of the third floor at 3 West 35th Street. The lease term is for 12 years. The tenant was represented by Brett Maslin of Adams & Company.

CBRE’s Brad Gerla, Adam Leshowitz, Michael Rizzo and Robert Wizenberg represented owner CIM Group in a 7,904-square-foot renewal with Marulli, Lindenbaum & Tomaszewski, LLP for part of the fourth floor at 5 Hanover Square. The lease term is for three years. The tenant was represented by Colliers.

CBRE’s Sam Spillane and Bruce Surry represented owner Vornado Realty Trust in a 7,700-square-foot lease with Old Republic Construction Program Group, Inc. for the entire 26th floor at 40 Fulton Street. The lease term is for five years. The tenant was represented by Michael Shenot of JLL.

CBRE’s Paul J. Amrich, Georgina Cook, Emily Jones and Patrice Meagher represented owner Tamares Realty in a 6,652-square-foot lease with Weber, Gallagher, Simpson, Stapleton Fires & Newby for part of the 24th floor at 1500 Broadway. The lease term is for 10 years. The tenant was represented by Scott Gutnick of NKF.

Dual Representation
