Eastern Consolidated Senior Director and Principal James Famularo has arranged a long-term lease for all-natural eatery Westville at 809 Ninth Avenue on Hell’s Kitchen’s “Restaurant Row” where he has negotiated over 20 retail leases.
Located between West 53rd and West 54th Streets, the fully fixtured turnkey restaurant space features 25-feet of frontage on Ninth Avenue, 1,700 square feet on the ground floor, and 1,700 square feet on the lower level. Michael Cohen of RKF represented the Westville, which will be opening its seventh restaurant at the site.
“Westville is a trend-setting restaurant offering reasonably priced, healthy menu selections made with fresh ingredients sourced from local farms,” Famularo said. “With locations in prime neighborhoods throughout New York City, Westville had been looking in Hell’s Kitchen and found the perfect turn-key restaurant space at 809 Ninth Avenue.”
Famularo said he began marketing 809 Ninth Avenue in March and had three offers within the first week. Last month, he also arranged a lease for Talad Wat Thai restaurant at 714 Ninth Avenue, and his team is currently marketing an 8,500-square-foot space at 771 Ninth Avenue.
The Famularo Team has dominated restaurant leasing on Ninth Avenue because its brokers understand the demographics of the area and are skilled at promoting the corridor’s reasonably priced rents and significant foot traffic generated by local residents and tourists.
