Comcast Joins as IoT PropTech Track Sponsor
MetaProp NYC, the world’s premier real estate technology nexus and early stage PropTech accelerator, has announced that the open application period for its fourth, 22-week MetaProp Accelerator at Columbia University class begins today.
For the first time, machineQ™, a Comcast® service, is partnering with the accelerator to build a unique IoT PropTech track. machine Q™ leverages connected sensor, network and cloud software technologies to enable innovative IoT solutions. MetaProp and machineQ™ looks forward to offering IoT companies even more opportunities for industry access, investment and pilots through this track partnership.
MetaProp NYC is the leading growth accelerator for real estate technology startups. The New York City based program is focused on driving business growth and market penetration. Last year, more than 300 applications from 35 countries resulted in less than 3% of applicants being invited to join the highly selective program.
Participants in the 2018 Accelerator program receive benefits including:
- Up to $250,000 in financing per selected company
- Curated access and introductions to decision-makers, pilots, premier sources of global investment capital and media
- At least two mentors from MetaProp NYC’s exclusive RE200 network
- Demo days in New York City and San Francisco
- Real Estate and technology education curricula led by industry luminaries
- Access and insights from Columbia business, engineering and real estate professors

The 2018 Accelerator program follows on the heels of MetaProp NYC’s first international program: the MetaProp Bridge at Columbia University. This first of its kind cross-program was based in London and New York City. Throughout the new 14-week program, technologies from across Europe, the Middle East and Africa were matched to award-winning investors, experienced mentors and diverse real estate, technology and institutional partners in North America.
