A Focus on Employee Well-Being

The forum explored successful companies’ strategies and tools to curate their portfolios to achieve peak human performance and competitively recruit talent. Subject matter experts noted the importance of evaluating the market for the availability of the right kind of talent, then developing a strategy by looking at who they are competing in that same market. Many of the approaches they discussed came back to employee well-being, which panelists agreed was an essential part of optimizing real estate. Because people can work anywhere,it’s important to know what brings them back to the office.

Hearing How Experts Act

“I think we’re all seeing a shift in prioritization from financial efficiency to the war on talent which is facing all corporate real estate today. Companies are looking to reshape and curate their portfolios to keep a competitive edge,” said Bacarella. “This event provided specific examples of how experts put that into practice in their projects and their unique, well-informed insights are helpful for those in attendance who might be grappling with best practices.”
