Bayer's Shirell A. Gross Recognized as One of Savoy Magazine's 2018 Most Influential Black Lawyers

Shirell A. Gross, Esq., Vice-President and Head of Law for Bayer Pharmaceuticals, Radiology, has been recognized by Savoy Magazine as one of their 2018 Most Influential Black Lawyers.

The full listing, which appears in the newly released summer 2018 issue, comprises the "best of the best" of black lawyers who are partners within leading national law firms, as well as corporate and general counsel from Fortune 1000 corporations.

Gross leads the legal support for Bayer Radiology's commercial functions in the Americas and for its Product Supply, Regulatory, Quality and Informatics/Software licensing functions worldwide.

Prior to Bayer, Gross was with Quest Diagnostics counseling on commercial, compliance, medical/quality, risk management and litigation matters. She has also represented health care providers on professional liability matters with Aaronson, Rappaport, Feinstein and Deutsch. Gross started her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx, N.Y.

Throughout her career, Gross has been committed to diversity, leadership development, mentoring and community service. She has received numerous awards for her service and frequently lectures on these topics both within Bayer and at external meetings and conferences.
