NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Lightyear Capital LLC, a New York-based private equity firm focused on financial services investing, today announced that it has appointed Allison Cole as Head of Fundraising and Investor Relations.

Ms. Cole most recently served as Head of Fundraising and Investor Relations at middle market buyout firm CCMP Capital Advisors (“CCMP”), where she led fundraising for a $3.6 billion flagship fund and the syndication of numerous co-investments. Ms. Cole’s responsibilities also included the execution of public relations strategies for the firm and its portfolio companies. She began her career in private equity at Morgan Stanley Capital Partners.
Lightyear’s fourth and largest fund to date, Lightyear Fund IV, L.P., closed in November 2017 with more than $950 million in capital commitments, with an additional $75 million raised in a related co-investment vehicle, bringing total capital raised since Lightyear’s inception to approximately $3.6 billion.
