Focus Property Group (FPG) led by Bobby Dweck, today announces that it has made its first acquisition--the International Baptist Church’s Brooklyn campus. Secured via a 99-year ground lease, the building located at 312 Coney Island Avenue, will undergo a capital improvements campaign, repositioning the asset to reflect the evolution of Windsor Terrace.
“The building’s high visibility location directly across from Prospect Park allows us to consider several development options in a neighborhood that is fast becoming a center of attraction for Brooklyn,” said Bobby Dweck.
The acquisition of the International Baptist Church was secured by Bobby Dweck and reflects Focus Property Group’s mission to add value and commitment to further enhance activity to the neighborhood.
With Prospect Park already being a popular hub with well-known attractions nearby including Smorgasburg, Prospect Park Zoo, Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, Brooklyn Museum, to name a few, the redevelopment of the asset will add to the area’s steady growth.
