Appoints Jeffrey S. Barry General Counsel and Juan-Andres Ramirez as Director
Trinity Investments, LLC, a leading private real estate firm, is pleased to announce the appointments of Jeffrey S. Barry as General Counsel and Juan-Andres Ramirez as Director. Mr. Barry is based in Los Angeles and responsible for overseeing all legal, compliance and corporate governance matters. Mr. Ramirez is based in Mexico City and responsible for supporting Trinity’s asset management and investment activities in Mexico.

Mr. Barry joins Trinity from Schottenstein Stores Corporation where he served as Deputy General Counsel. He also served as Vice President of Legal and Finance at TACKMA, LLC, a men’s apparel brand associated with Schottenstein. During his time in these roles, Mr. Barry advised shareholders and management on equity and debt investments, served as outside counsel to Schottenstein’s portfolio companies and handled a variety of legal, finance, human resources and IT functions. Prior to Schottenstein and TACKMA, Mr. Barry began his career as an Associate in Goodwin Procter LLP’s tax practice in Boston. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting from The Ohio State University, a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law, and an LL.M. from New York University School of Law.
Prior to joining Trinity, Mr. Ramirez was a Senior Associate at hotelAVE, one of North America’s leading hotel asset management companies. In this role, he provided strategic asset management support to a portfolio of hotel properties in the United States, Mexico and Colombia. Before joining hotelAVE, Mr. Ramirez worked as an Analyst at Jones Lang LaSalle where he helped structure and execute the business activities in the firm’s Mexico City office. He also served as a Revenue Management Analyst for Hilton Villahermosa and Conference Center as well as the Four Seasons Mexico City. Mr. Ramirez is a graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and he is currently the President for the Mexico Chapter for the Cornell Hotel Society.
