Dutchess County individuals recognized for their commitment to creating an inclusive tomorrow

The Arc of Dutchess, which serves nearly 1,000 people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in Dutchess County, will recognize nine local individuals and organizations working to make Dutchess County a more inclusive place through its annual Celebration of Stars awards ceremony. The event will take place September 27, 2018 at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm.
“The mission of The Arc of Dutchess cannot be accomplished by one organization alone – it takes a community full of talented, innovative, and caring individuals thinking differently about those with special needs,” said Crys McCuin, executive director of The Arc of Dutchess. “The Celebration of Stars awards allows us to celebrate these outstanding changemakers moving the needle forward in this mission.”
