Mary Dollarhide and Ute Krudewagen Named Daily Journal Top California Labor and Employment Lawyers

DLA Piper is pleased to announce that the Daily Journal has named Mary Dollarhide and Ute Krudewagen to its 2018 list of Top California Labor and Employment Lawyers. The award is given annually to 75 California-based attorneys for their contributions to the law and the community.

In its recognition of Dollarhide, a partner in the firm's San Diego's office, the Daily Journal highlighted her wage and hour and high-level defense representations. Krudewagen, a partner in the firm's Silicon Valley office and co-chair of the firm's International Labor and Employment practice, was recognized for her successful transactional work on behalf notable global clients.

Dollarhide has represented large and well-known companies with a focus on wage and hour class actions and other employment matters for 30 years with the skills that help clients navigate complex, large-exposure and brand-threatening employment litigation. She has successfully represented clients in multiple state and federal courts and her extensive knowledge of California labor laws has guided her during her experience defending clients in single-plaintiff cases involving sex or sexual orientation discrimination, executive misconduct, religious harassment, disability claims, breach of contract, theft of proprietary information and other related matters.

Krudewagen's practice focuses on international and cross-border clients on a broad range of complex global employment matters, serving as trusted advisor and managing international counsel for a broad range of multijurisdictional and multidisciplinary projects. Her experience includes advising on global background checks, employment and independent contractor agreements, discrimination and harassment claims, social media issues, global policies and procedures, non-compete and proprietary information agreements, works council and union issues, codes of conduct and social responsibility, workplace privacy, employee assignments and global mobility programs, global reductions in force, restructurings and severance and retention plans.
