Private Advisor Group (PAG) was nominated for the innovative and leading program designed for interns. The digital certification program allows university students the ability to get trained to use the operating system of PAG advisors virtually and receive a certification. PAG then promotes these interns to its network of 600+ advisors nationwide to assist in getting them real life work experience in one of their advisors' offices.

"It's been an amazing experience building and promoting this program to both the advisors in our network and students at select universities. It helps solve two industry wide problems: getting a younger generation interested in the profession and helping advisors with a potential future employee and an eventual junior advisor," said Abby Salameh, Chief Marketing Officer at Private Advisor Group.

A record number of nominations were submitted this year—more than 600 entries were received from nearly 250 companies. 156 organizations were selected as finalists in one or more of the 67 categories in this year's awards program.

A panel of independent judges made up of top names in the industry will determine the 2018 award winners, who will be announced at a black-tie gala event on September 13, 2018 at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City.
