Edison Partners today announced the promotions of three team members to Vice President. James Hill, Jennifer Lee and Doba Parushev, all previously Senior Associates, on the firm’s investment team.

James Hill is a member of the firm’s Healthcare IT practice. Since 2013, when he joined the firm as a Summer Associate, James has helped to source such Healthcare investments as Clinverse (sold to BioClinica), Virtual Health and Signet Accel. James is an observer of the Trialscope Board of Directors. James has also sourced other investments outside of Healthcare IT, such as ItemMaster. James is active in multiple industry associations, including but not limited to Philadelphia Alliance for Capital and Technologies (PACT), Michigan Venture Capital Association, and other regional technology and entrepreneurial organizations.
Jennifer Lee joined Edison as an Associate in 2016 and focuses on the firm’s Fintech investments, most recently co-leading Bento for Business and Giant Oak. Jennifer also works closely with Clearpool Group, ComplySci and MoneyLion. Jennifer is an emergent fintech industry thought leader. She recently examined the fintech landscape in “What’s Next for Fintech,” joined meetings with the Department of Treasury for the Fintech Industry Report, and will speak at Finovate NYC in this fall.
Doba Parushev joined Edison Partners as an Associate in 2016. He focuses on investments and sourcing within the Enterprise Solutions sector, most recently Zagster. He also works closely with Bricata, MoneyLion and Verve, among others. Doba is an active mentor and coach to founders and entrepreneurs for organizations like the New Jersey Technology Council and MIT 100K in Boston. Doba is also an industry speaker and analyst. He is a recurring panelist for the TechBreakfast event series and has recently covered topics such as The Future of AI and The Unicorn Delusion: 3 Things You Should Know.
Edison Partners has financed and guided more than 200 private companies. Recent investments include Bento for Business, a Chicago-based provider of financial management solutions for small and midsize businesses, and Giant Oak, the Arlington, VA-based threat protection platform for government and financial services organizations.
