9/9/18

5W Public Relations, one of the top 10 independently owned PR firms in the U.S., is announcing that it has been named PR Agency of Record for Undertone, the leader in synchronized cross-platform digital branding for the world's most prominent brands.

In just three months, 5W positioned Undertone as a fast-growing advertising powerhouse that bridges the gaps in the digital advertising landscape by delivering cohesive stories that reach consumers across the most important touchpoints, screens and platforms. Undertone is a division of Perion Ltd., a global technology company that delivers a suite of ad tech solutions to help advertisers and publishers engage with their audiences. In addition to Undertone, Perion also includes social platform MakeMeReach, digital monetization platform CodeFuel and multimedia-based messaging service, Smilebox.

To kick off 5W's relationship with Undertone, the team showcased Undertone's rapid growth plans by announcing its new US office at One World Trade Center. As a result, 5W secured an exclusive interview and article with the New York Post, breaking the story on the company's new office location as well as its plans for growth and vision moving forward. Following the piece came additional articles around the announcement in local business and commercial real estate publications including, New York Business Journal, Real Deal, Commercial Observer, Bisnow and Globe St.

In addition to highlighting Undertone's growing physical presence, 5W leveraged the company's executive team to set up desk-side interviews with some of digital marketing's most esteemed media outlets. 5W secured interviews with Business Insider, Adweek and Digiday in an effort to increase Undertone and company President Michael Pallad's position as an industry thought leader around the disruption occurring in the current digital media landscape, the importance of creative and the significance of AI in digital.

"Undertone is in a position to be a real trailblazer for an industry ripe for change and disruption. Mike and his team are getting ahead of the fast-moving digital marketing industry, showing the importance around the power of creative to tell a brand's unique story across platforms," said Ronn Torossian, 5WPR CEO. "We're thrilled for the opportunity to tell Undertone's story as the company leverages its proprietary technology and creative approach to revolutionize how brands and agencies more effectively engage with consumers."

On the partnership, Michael Pallad, President of Undertone added, "We're very excited about working with 5WPR.
