Verisk Earns Great Place to Work Certification for Third Consecutive Year

10/28/18

JERSEY CITY, N.J., October 26, 2018 - Verisk (Nasdaq:VRSK), a leading data analytics provider, has received the Great Place to Work® Certification for the third consecutive year. The honor recognizes Verisk for its outstanding workplace culture. Also in 2018, Forbes magazine named Verisk to its World's Best Employers list and to its America's Best Employers for Women list.

Great Place to Work is the global authority on high-trust, high-performance workplace cultures. Verisk received the certification based on the results of the Great Place to Work survey, through which a random selection of employees shared their thoughts about working at Verisk.

Forbes named Verisk to its World's Best Employers list based on survey results of more than 430,000 employees who were asked how likely they were to recommend their own employer and other employers they admired.

Forbes named Verisk to its America's Best Employers for Women list based on a survey of 40,000 Americans working for businesses with at least 1,000 employees. They were asked to rate their organizations on criteria such as working conditions, diversity, and how likely they'd be to recommend their employer to others as well as nominate organizations outside their industry.

"We're pleased that Verisk has been recognized as a Great Place to Work for the third year in a row and by Forbes as a World's Best Employer and a Best Employer for Women," said Scott Stephenson, chairman, president, and chief executive officer of Verisk. "These honors are a testament to our more than 8,000 employees worldwide who share our common values: a commitment to excellence and professional growth, personal integrity, enthusiasm for challenging work, and a desire to contribute their capabilities to a successful team."

Members of Verisk's highly skilled workforce hold master's degrees, doctorates, and advanced degrees in predictive analytics, data science, actuarial science, mathematics, computer science, chemistry, physics, economics, engineering, meteorology, and GIS mapping.

"Recognition as a Great Place to Work, a World's Best Employer, and a Best Employer for Women supports our organization's mission and ensures that our people-our greatest resource-realize both their potential and the vision of building an organization that positively affects the world around us," said Laurie Lovett, chief human resources officer at Verisk.
