Buoyant Leasing Activity In Milvado’s Industrial Portfolio As 2019 Kicks Off

Following last year’s buoyant leasing activity for industrial warehouse space on Long Island, Milvado Property Group sees the trend continuing and even accelerating. Milvado leased or renewed a total of

51,431 square feet in the month of January to a wide variety of tenants seeking warehouse space situated close to main thoroughfares into Manhattan and the outer boroughs.

“E-commerce is driving retailers’ insatiable appetite for super large warehouse space to accommodate products purchased online,” said David Hercman, regional director, Milvado Property Group. “We are in the process of updating and repurposing many of the industrial properties in our portfolio to meet this 21st century heightened demand.”

Deals negotiated so far this year:

171-175 East 2nd Street, Huntington Station

California Fragrance Company expanded and renewed for a total of 22,032 square feet of industrial space at 171-175 2ndStreet in Huntington Station; landlord was represented in-house.

101-125 Comac Street, Ronkonkoma

Forward Industries Inc., a NASDAQ listed public company providing innovative solutions for clients, leased 4,800 square feet of R&D Space at 101-125 Comac Street in Ronkonkoma; Jim Dunn, Atlantic Property Services, LLC represented the tenant; landlord was represented in-house.

6851 Jericho Turnpike, Syosset

ESR Capital Fund LLC renewed 5,000 square feet of office space at 6851 Jericho Turnpike, Syosset; Tommy Tsiolis, Diversified Realty LI represented the tenant, while landlord was represented in-house.

4Thought Financial Group Inc. renewed 2,856 square feet of office space at 6851 Jericho Turnpike, Syosset; David Hunt, Hunt Corporate Services acted on behalf of the tenant, while landlord was represented in-house.

575 Underhill Blvd, Syosset

Golden House Cabinets leased 20,000 square feet of industrial space at 575 Underhill Blvd; Nick Gallipoli, Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant, while landlord was represented in-house.
