Larry Jones
Larry has over 25 years of experience building, operating, and growing public and private companies in the marketing services, enterprise and SaaS software, information and IT services, business process outsourcing, cyber security, and clean-tech industries. Jones is a former CEO of seven technology services companies including Coalfire, StarTek, Activant, MessageMedia, Interelate, Neodata, and GovPx.
Previously, Jones was the Chief Executive Officer of Coalfire Systems, Inc., a provider of cyber security audit and advisory services in Westminster, Colorado where he remains a board member. Coalfire is a private high-growth company backed by Carlyle and the Chertoff Group.
Currently, Larry is a Director of Coalfire, Xyleme (a private SaaS content management company), the Local Theater Group in Boulder, and the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder. Formerly, he was a Director and/or Chairman of eleven private equity, public and VC-backed companies: Diligent Board Books, Essential Power, Comverge, Work Options Group, StarTek, WebClients, Exabyte, Activant Solutions, Real Solutions, Neodata, SARCOM, WebClients, and DIMAC. For many years he has sat on audit and compensation committees for various companies and is a member and NACD Fellow with the National Association of Corporate Directors.
Jones graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and earned his MBA from Boston University. He currently resides in Boulder, Colorado and New York City.
