Burns has over 30 years of experience in financial services and enterprise software. He most recently was the Chief Operating Officer of PowerPlan, Inc., a private equity-backed SaaS software company which was acquired by Roper Technologies, Inc. Prior to PowerPlan, Burns has held senior positions at PROS, Inc. (NYSE: PRO), Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE: HPQ), and Exstream Software, Inc.. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Finance and Investment Management from the University of Alabama and served in the U.S. Navy.
