Jim Halpert has advised clients through more than 400 data security incidents, helped write the NACD Cyber Risk Handbook, and has helped draft more than 300 state laws relating to privacy and cybersecurity. He advises clients regarding compliance and risk management strategies, and has represented clients in major security and privacy cases in the federal courts and before the Federal Trade Commission and State Attorneys General.
