NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens Welcomes New Pediatric Specialists

Continuing the Efforts to Bring Top Quality Pediatric Care to the Borough

NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens is pleased to introduce three highly-experienced board-certified pediatric specialists dedicated to enhancing pediatric care throughout the borough of Queens:

  • Angela Kadenhe-Chiweshe, M.D—Pediatric Surgery
  • Jules Beal, M.D—Pediatric Neurology
  • Ken Bayle, D.O—Pediatric Cardiology


These physicians are affiliated with NewYork-Presbyterian Queens and join their colleagues there and at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens in delivering outstanding care throughout the borough. They will practice at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens offices in Flushing and Fresh Meadows, as well as at the hospital.

About our physicians:

Angela Kadenhe-Chiweshe, M.D.

Angela Kadenhe-Chiweshe, MD, FACS, FAAP, is a pediatric surgeon at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens, an attending pediatric surgeon at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens, and an assistant professor of surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Kadenhe-Chiweshe is board certified in general surgery and pediatric surgery.
Dr. Kadenhe-Chiweshe focuses on all aspects of general and thoracic pediatric surgery, including neonatal anomalies, intestinal rehabilitation, hepatobiliary disease, pediatric cancer, and vascular anomalies. Her academic interests lie in the field of clinical and translational research. She is a fellow of the American College of Surgery.

After graduating from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine, Dr. Kadenhe-Chiweshe completed a categorical general surgery residency at the University of Rochester.

She completed her residency training at Columbia University Medical Center, followed by a clinical fellowship in pediatric surgery at the Morgan Stanley Children’s’ Hospital at NewYork-Presbyterian and Columbia University Medical Center.

Dr. Kadenhe-Chiweshe will see patients at 163-03 Horace Harding Expressway, 5th Floor, Fresh Meadows.

Jules Beal, M.D.

Jules C. Beal, MD, is a pediatric neurologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens, specializing in seizures and epilepsy, epileptic encephalopathies, and neurocutaneous disorders in addition to general pediatric neurology. He is an assistant professor of clinical pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine and an attending pediatric neurologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens.

Dr. Beal has been in practice for more than 10 years and is board certified in neurology, with special qualifications in child neurology, and epilepsy by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology

After graduating from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Dr. Beal served his internship and residency in pediatrics at Cohen Children’s Medical Center. He trained as a resident in child neurology at Montefiore Medical Center and remained there for his fellowship training in clinical neurophysiology.

He is a member of the American Epilepsy Society and the Child Neurology Society.

Dr. Beal will see patients at 163-03 Horace Harding Expressway, 5th Floor, Fresh Meadows.

Dr. Ken Bayle, D.O.

Ken Bayle, D.O., is an attending pediatric cardiologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens and an assistant professor of clinical pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine. He provides comprehensive care to children and adolescents with congenital heart disorders and pediatric heart disease.

Dr. Bayle is board certified in pediatrics and a member of the American Society of Echocardiology, the American College of Cardiology, the Southeast Pediatric Cardiology Society, and the American Academy of Pediatrics. His research has been published in peer-reviewed journals, as well as presented at annual medical meetings and national conferences.

After graduating from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Bayle completed his pediatric residency at SUNY Stony Brook Children’s Hospital, where he conducted research in non-invasive cardiology. He served his pediatric cardiology fellowship at the University of Tennessee at the Heart Institute at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Bayle will see patients at 56-34 Main Street, 1st Floor, Flushing.
