HARTFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Hartford has announced that Sean Genden will join the company as head of international insurance effective December 16, 2019. Genden will be based in London and report to the Head of Global Specialty Vince Tizzio.

Prior to joining The Hartford, Genden held a number of leadership roles at Travelers’ Insurance including CEO of their Lloyd’s managing agency, CEO of the U.K. domiciled insurance company and most recently their International Business Insurance Segment lead. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut.
