Innovative Design Showcases the Firm’s Work, Enhances Visitor Experience

Meridian Design Associates Architects P.C. today launched a new website that provides in-depth views of the firm’s work, opportunities to learn about Meridian’s areas of expertise and offers introductions to Meridian staff members.

Features include a clean, fresh layout that reflects Meridian’s philosophy and multiple profiles that give visitors a strong feel for the firm’s approach to designing a broad array of spaces. “We re-created our site to sync with our updated graphic standards for client-facing materials,” says Antonio Argibay, AIA, LEED AP, Meridian’s founder and managing principal. “Our key goal was a site that is informative, simple and attractive.”

Meridian’s Work Takes Center Stage

The site features Meridian’s projects for such media industry leaders as WarnerMedia, CNN, HBO and Univision, along with corporate, financial, residential, healthcare, retail and specialized clients. “We deliberately selected work that highlights our ‘People First’ philosophy,” says Argibay. A video of WarnerMedia Hudson Yards relocation (https://meridiandesign.com/projects/warner-media-hudson-yards-relocations), which highlights Meridian’s approach, is spotlighted on the website. “Additional videos will be added in the months ahead to further underscore our work in a non-static manner,” notes Argibay.

Creating the site was a thoughtful process. “We developed the website collaboratively, with our web designer Joey Carbajal, always focused on making it simple for visitors – and our team – to use,” says Carlos Young, senior associate at Meridian and development team lead. “Because we want to continuously update it with fresh content, ease of management was paramount.” It took six months to create the site. “Getting things right was essential,” says Young. “We didn’t want to rush at all.”

Meridian also wanted to highlight its staff, and space is dedicated to its team members, including their office mascots, a dog and cat, named, respectively, “Pawject Manager” Remy and “Furr-niture Coordinator” Mouse. “Everyone here – including our four-legged companions! - is a stand-out, and this recognition underscores the bench strength that Meridian enjoys as a leader in the architecture community,” says Argibay.

“The website reflects who we are,” notes Young. “The feedback has been very positive, both from our clients and staff, and that makes the time put against designing it worth every minute.”
