NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Lux Health Tech Acquisition Corp. announced today that it has commenced its initial public offering of 30,000,000 units at a price of $10.00 per unit. Each unit issued in the offering will consist of one share of the Company’s Class A common stock and one-third of one warrant, each whole warrant entitling the holder thereof to purchase one share of the Class A common stock at an exercise price of $11.50 per share. The units are expected be listed on the Nasdaq Stock Market, LLC (“Nasdaq”) and trade under the ticker symbol “LUXAU”. After the securities comprising the units begin separate trading, the shares of Class A common stock and warrants are expected to be listed on Nasdaq under the symbols “LUXA” and “LUXAW,” respectively. No fractional warrants will be issued upon separation of the units and only whole warrants will trade.
Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC is acting as sole book-running manager for the offering and Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Incorporated is acting as lead manager. The Company intends to grant the underwriters a 45-day option to purchase up to an additional 4,500,000 units at the initial public offering price to cover over-allotments, if any.
