Fast-casual eatery chain Le Pain Quotidien to open location at West 56th Street and Sixth Avenue at base of luxury rental building, Claridge’s
Manhattan Skyline Management Corp., one of New York City's leading real estate organizations, is pleased to announce a new long-term lease with bakery-driven chain, Le Pain Quotidien at 1377 Sixth Avenue. This new location for the international eatery, which will be situated just off the corner of Sixth Avenue and West 56th Street, is one of more than 60 in the United States.
The lease is for 2,425-square feet of ground-floor space with an additional 1,300-square feet of basement storage space.
Aurify Brands bought Le Pain Quotidien and acquired the assets of Maison Kayser earlier this year, and is opening new Le Pain Quotidien eateries in former Maison Kayser locations. The bakery chain was founded in Brussels in 1990, and now operates over 260 locations worldwide.
“We’re opening it up as the new and improved LPQ, which will offer a superior culinary and hospitality experience than before,” said John Rigos, Co-CEO of Aurify Brands.
“We’re delighted that Aurify Brands chose to house a Le Pain Quotidien in what is the street level of our luxury residential building, Claridge’s. This is sure to be a hit with both our residents and the midtown businesses and community here on the Sixth Avenue corridor,” said Joshua J. Roth, Senior Vice President of Retail at Manhattan Skyline Management Corp.
Joshua J. Roth handled the deal for the landlord in-house. RCS Real Estate Advisors represented Aurify Brands on the tenant side.
