DXA studio, an award-winning architecture and design firm based in Manhattan, is pleased to announce that Jordan Rogove, founding Partner, has been appointed to the Society of Registered Architects (SARA) New York Board.

Jordan is a Co-Founder with his partner Wayne Norbeck. He leads the creative design process and manages the studio of 30 architects.

Over the course of Jordan’s 20-year career he has completed a tower that straddles Manhattan’s High Line, won international design competitions for health-focused housing in Haiti, an arena for the New Jersey Devils, a pedestrian bridge and park in midtown Manhattan and a renovation of the Brooklyn Bridge, designed and fabricated scenic sets for television and stage, helped realize the Louis Sullivan Award winning historic Carbide & Carbon Building renovation and the AN Best Renovation Project 100 Barclay, and designed and oversaw over twenty high-end residential and commercial projects in New York City.

The Society of American Registered Architects (SARA) is a vibrant professional organization of architects and industry related partners guided by the mantra, “Architect Helping Architect.” The national organization was founded in 1956 and focuses on fellowship, friendship, and mentorship. SARA holds numerous events, programs, and committees at national and local levels to provide opportunities to professionals in the field.

Prior to founding DXA studio with partner Wayne Norbeck, Jordan worked with renowned Set Designer Tom McPhillips, Chicago-based Lucien Lagrange Architects, and Morris Adjmi Architects in New York City. Jordan is currently a visiting Professor of Practice at Virginia Polytechnic Institute, and Director of Design & Architecture at the health focused housing company, LiV-Connected.

This past year, DXA studio received a Merit award in the Multifamily Housing: Condominiums and Apartments category in the prestigious Society of American Registered Architects (SARA) Awards 2020 for their project, 280 St. Marks Avenue. This project is an 80,000 square foot, 32-unit condominium building where DXA was tasked with maintaining the context of the surrounding Brooklyn neighborhood.
