MayStreet Appoints Manisha Kimmel as Chief Policy Officer

New York, Feb. 10, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MayStreet, the industry’s leading market data infrastructure provider, today announced the appointment of Manisha Kimmel as Chief Policy Officer.

Manisha joins MayStreet from the Securities and Exchange Commission, where she served as Senior Policy Advisor, Regulatory Reporting in the Office of the Chairman. Over the course of her two-year tenure at the agency, she was instrumental in the successful implementation of the Consolidated Audit Trail (CAT), working with various internal and industry stakeholders to get the high-profile system live. At MayStreet, Manisha will leverage her considerable regulatory and market expertise to help the firm continue its rapid growth.

Prior to joining the SEC, Manisha served as Head of Regulatory and Compliance, Wealth Management, at Refinitiv. In addition, she served as the chair of the Advisory Committee for CAT NMS LLC, a diverse group of industry experts that offers advice to SROs on technical specifications, reporting functionality and other matters relating to the CAT. She has previously been a member of the SEC’s Equity Market Structure Advisory Committee (EMSAC), where she chaired the Customer Issues Subcommittee. Prior to her time at Refinitiv, Manisha served as Managing Director for the Financial Information Forum, where she worked with broker dealers, exchanges and vendors on issues involving regulatory and market data technology. She has also held positions at Jordan & Jordan and Automatic Data Processing. Manisha holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in Engineering from Penn’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
