EPIC Commercial Realty Sells Residential Building in Bushwick

6/6/16

EPIC Commercial Realty is pleased to announce the sale of 1385 Madison Street in Bushwick, Brooklyn.

The property is a three-story residential building with six railroad style units. Situated on Madison Street, between Ridgewood Place and Irving Avenue, the building is located just two blocks from the Myrtle Avenue retail corridor and four blocks from the Myrtle-Wyckoff [M] train station. According to Investment Sales Associate, Baruch Edelkopf, “The close proximity to the Myrtle Avenue commercial and transportation hubs with access to multiple train lines were the major factors in the investor’s decision to acquire the property.”

With Williamsburg becoming one of the most expensive neighborhoods in New York City, Bushwick has undergone a massive investment and development process over the past few years. With new retail shops, restaurants and nightlife areas continuously opening up around the neighborhood, Bushwick has become one of the most desirable areas of Brooklyn. The neighborhood is comprised of mostly brownstones, warehouse converted lofts and other renovated buildings. The neighborhood is well served by public transportation through the [L,J,M,Z] trains and several local bus lines.

EPIC Commercial Realty team of Yagnesh Vangala, Ryan Winchester and Baruch Edelkopf sold 1385 Madison Street for $1,200,000.
