SL Green Realty Corp (NYSE: SLG) today announced it has signed two leases totaling 23,558 square feet at 750 Third Avenue, the 34-story, 857,354-square-foot office building located in midtown Manhattan’s popular Grand Central Terminal district.
Ankura Consulting Group LLC, an Atlanta, GA-based advisory and expert services firm, signed a new five-year+ lease covering 11,779 for the entire 28 th floor of the building; and Taiwan-based First Commercial Bank, Ltd., renewed for the same amount of space on the entire 34th floor.
“We are delighted to welcome Ankura to the building, and retain First Commercial Bank, Ltd., for the long-term,” said Steven Durels, executive vice president, director of leasing and real property for SL Green, who added “these transactions are testament to the continued robust leasing activity currently be experienced in midtown Manhattan and particularly within the Grand Central terminal submarket.”
Other tenants in the building include Eisner, LLP; Marcum LLP; Endurance Reinsurance; and FTI Consulting, Inc.
Don Preate of Cushman & Wakefield represented Ankura, while David Kaufman acted in-house for SL Green. Daniel Horowitz of Savills Studley represented First Commercial Bank, Ltd., while Natasha Brown negotiated the transaction in-house for the landlord.
