Developer, Elected Officials, & Other Prominent Guests Officially Mark the Commencement of Construction for Phase I of $200 Million Transformative Development on St. George Waterfront
WHAT: Triangle Equities, elected officials, and stakeholders will officially celebrate the groundbreaking for phase I of Lighthouse Point, the developer’s$200 million, mixed-use project on the St. George waterfront in Staten Island. Along with the other new core developments currently underway, this momentous occasion marks the continued progress of a transformative period for the North Shore of Staten Island.
In addition to the more than $1 billion investment into the transformation of the St. George waterfront, Lighthouse Point will contribute to the realized vision of “Destination St. George”, which will attract millions of people to live, work, and visit. Construction of the first phase of the project is slated for completion in December 2017.
Executives from Triangle Equities, along with elected officials, finance partners, and other stakeholders will be on hand with shovels and to share a few remarks during a brief speaking program. Light refreshments from local epicurean shops, including Dominick’s Bakery & Café, Mercato Bagels and Beans & Leaves will be served throughout the ceremony. Additionally, there will be giveaways provided by Destination St. George partners, including Snug Harbor, the New York Wheel, Empire Outlets, The Staten Island Yankees, and others.
