Adams & Co. Real Estate, LLC, Manhattan’s premier full-service real estate firm specializing in property management, brokerage and consulting services, brokered a 4,619-square-foot renewal deal for You and Me Legwear at 10 West 33rd Street. The company will continue to use the space as an office and a showroom for designing leg wear products.
David Levy, principal of Adams & Co. represented the tenant as well as the landlord, Ten West Thirty Third Associates. Although the full details were not disclosed, asking rent for the five-year deal was $50 per square foot.
“10 West 33rd Street continues to appeal to creative fashion brands like You and Me Legwear. Brands get the best exposure to wholesale buyers at the building, known in the industry as The Fashion Accessories Center,” said David Levy. “In addition to being located near key business contacts, You and Me Legwear benefited from the large pre-war layout it occupied, as well as the natural light the space received from the updated windows. The culmination of those features led the company to renew for an additional five years.”
You and Me Legwear was founded in 2001 and designs socks, leggings and knee-high legwarmers. The company makes a wide range of products for women, men, children and babies. Its clientele includes Zoo York, Sugar and Rampage.
Built in 1914, 10 West 33rd Street is a 13-story, 319,200-square-foot building, located between Fifth Avenue and Broadway. Notable tenants include A Classic Time Watch Co., Rugged Equipment, Global Design Concepts and Gina Group, with retail tenants Legends Bar & Grill, BCD Tofu House, and United States Post Office.
