The Fitness Club will Open its Second Manhattan Location by Summer 2016
Full-service commercial real estate firm ABS Partners Real Estate LLC secured a 5,150-square-foot lease for the rapidly growing TITLE Boxing Club NYC at 900 Third Avenue. The fitness studio will occupy 300 square feet on the ground floor and 4,850 square feet on the lower level in the 36-story Class A office building. The location on Third Avenue between 54th and 55th Streets marks TITLE Boxing Club NYC’s second gym in Manhattan, which is slated to open during the third quarter of 2016.
Robert Kempner, formerly of ABS Partners Real Estate, represented TITLE Boxing Club NYC in the transaction, while Eric Gelber and Jake Heine of CBRE represented the landlord, Paramount Group Inc. Asking rent for the ground floor was $250 per square foot.
TITLE Boxing Club NYC opened its first location in Manhattan on 10th Avenue and 37th Street in June 2014 and gained a reputation as a top fitness studio in NYC. In September 2014 it was recognized by TIME OUT New York as a Top 20 Gym in NYC and in 2015, Class Pass recognized TITLE Boxing Club NYC Owner and Trainer Michael Tosto as the Number One Trainer in NYC. In May 2016 Lululemon named Tosto as its newest brand ambassador.
“Demand was high for a second TITLE Boxing Club NYC studio. Clients were coming from all parts of the city to one location on the far West Side of Manhattan, which was a time-limiting factor for many,” said Robert Kempner. “Michael saw that several new clients, and many potential clients, lived in areas like Murray Hill and Midtown East in Manhattan, and Long Island City and Astoria in Queens. 900 Third Avenue provided a location close to those neighborhoods with over 10 trains located within a five-minute walk of the building. A second location between 54th and 55th Streets in Manhattan was ideal and will help TITLE continue its growth in the city.”
