With lots of smiles and a strong spirit of volunteerism, the TOWN team joined the preschoolers for the 4th Annual Planting Day
On June 22nd, Representatives from TOWN Residential’s Upper East Side office and management team joined Cassidy’s Place, an extension of the Association to Benefit Children, for the anticipated 4th Annual Planting Day.
Located on 86 th Street just a few blocks from TOWN’s 79th Street office, Cassidy’s Place is a preschool dedicated to providing a warm, nurturing and encouraging environment to children who live in poverty and suffer from disabilities, medical conditions and have special needs.
The TOWN Upper East Side office works closely with Cassidy's Place year round and through events like Planting Day, enjoys the special opportunity to interact one on one with the preschoolers. On Planting Day, the children and TOWN volunteers alike spend the day planting flowers and shrubs and playing in the school’s playground – a vibrant area that the children both enjoy and benefit from. After the planting, Judy Holtzman, Cassidy’s Place Director of Special Projects, took the group on a tour of the school to further observe the enriched curriculum and special programming available to the children to help them achieve their highest potential.
