Eastern Consolidated has arranged the sale of a Tribeca loft building at 124 Chambers Street between Church Street and West Broadway for $7 million.
The 10,400-square-foot, six-story, mixed-use, property features ground floor retail, which is currently leased to a restaurant, and five, floor-through loft units that enjoy soaring ceiling heights exceeding 10 feet.
Exclusive Eastern Consolidated Senior Director Martin Ezratty represented the seller, Lahaina Management Company, a family enterprise that owned the building for 50-plus years. Chris Matousek, Director, Financial Services, was the analyst for the deal. Brandon Eisenman of RKF represented the buyer, a private investor.
“We had a tremendous amount of interest in this property from all types of investors who were motivated by the building’s significant long-term value,” Ezratty said. “Ecco, an Italian restaurant, has leased the restaurant space for over 30 years, and loft units are located on the upper floors.”
The site enjoys significant foot traffic and benefits from superb subway access to the 1, 2, 3, A, and C trains. The building also is a short walk to the high-end retail and restaurants at Brookfield Place and the soon to be opened Westfield World Trade Center, as well as connections to the PATH at the WTC and additional subway lines at the Fulton Center.
