CBRE Group, Inc. announced today that it represented 5 Penn Plaza LLC and Acuity Brands Lighting, Inc. in the 15,539-square-foot office lease renewal on the top three floors of the renovated building.

5 Penn Plaza has undergone a recent multi-million-dollar capital improvement program. The building’s upgrades include a two-story glass façade with ten-foot glass revolving doors, as well as a new lobby. Further improvements will include new elevators and a tenant only lounge and café. The building also recently refurbished its exterior façade and, to make the most of 5 Penn Plaza’s generous 14-foot slab heights, ownership increased the heights of window walls to eight feet of glass.

CBRE’s Peter Turchin, Jason Pollen and Dave Caperna represented the landlord, 5 Penn Plaza LLC. The asking rent was $70.00 and the term was for 10 years.
