The full-service photography company will remain on the sixth floor of the 18-story building for an additional seven years.
Brett Maslin and David Levy of Adams & Co. represented the landlord, 42-52 West 39th Street LLC. Michael Burgio of Cushman and Wakefield represented the tenant. Although the full details were not disclosed, asking rent was $45 per square foot.
“42 West 39th Street has served as Digital Color Concepts’ headquarters for the past six years. The office building has provided the company with a central location in the transit triangle, with all major transportation hubs nearby including Penn Station, Grand Central, Port Authority, the PATH and major subway lines,” said David Levy, principal of Adams & Co. “Because ease of access continues to aide in the photography company’s success with high-end clientele and photo-shoot projects, Digital Color Concepts decided to remain at 42 West 39th Street.”
Built in 1927, 42 West 39th Street is an 18-story building, located between Fifth and Sixth Avenues. Comprised of 138,788 square feet, the building features a concierge, 24/7 access, a newly renovated lobby and new windows. Notable tenants include Everlast Worldwide Spanx, Inc., Bluefly.com, and Castlewood Apparel. Retail tenants include The Boy Scouts of America, Dunkin Donuts and Offsite.
Digital Color Concepts is a fully integrated graphics company that offers prep, retouching and printing. The business delivers dramatic results to its impressive clients, which include Coach, Macy’s, Givenchy, Tiffany & Co., Rolex, AOL and Barclay’s.
