Fried Frank acted as counsel to Wharton Properties in the refinancing of 720 Fifth Avenue consisting of a US$400 million mortgage loan from JP Morgan Chase Bank and a US$33.75 million mezzanine loan from SL Green. 720 Fifth is an office and retail building located in midtown Manhattan.

Fried Frank acted as counsel to Jack Resnick & Sons in the US$295 million loan refinancing of One Seaport Plaza (a/k/a 199 Water Street) with AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company. One Seaport Plaza is a 1.1 million-square foot 35-story, Class A office building in lower Manhattan.
