Fisher Brothers announced today the installation of a new series of photographs in the lobby of 299 Park Avenue, one of the firm’s signature Manhattan office towers. The collection by Harry Agress Jr. MD was specifically selected by Fisher Brothers to enhance the tenant experience at the building by showcasing original and unique art and photography.
The 15-photograph series, entitled “Through My Lens: A World of Wonder, Beauty and Spirit,” was created to capture the elegance and essence of various cultures throughout the world.
“Fisher Brothers is always looking for ways to create a home away from home for our tenants, primarily through the use of distinctive design, thoughtful programs, and beautiful landscaping,” said Fisher Brothers Partner Winston Fisher. “We are pleased to be working with Harry Agress Jr. to inspire and promote a sense of excitement for our tenants and guests through photography.”
The art initiative is the kick off to a rotating series throughout the Fisher Brothers portfolio.
Designed by Emery Roth & Sons and built by Fisher Brothers, 299 Park Avenue is a 42-story, 1.2 million square foot office tower which opened in 1967. The building is currently 97 percent leased by a range of world-class companies, including UBS and Capital One. Occupying the full block front between 48th and 49th Streets, 299 Park is situated along one of the world’s most iconic boulevards and counts such prestigious neighbors as the Waldorf-Astoria and Grand Central Terminal. Originally built over primary tracks serving the New Haven Railroad, it was considered a marvel of modern engineering at the time of its construction. The long-time corporate headquarters for the Fisher Brothers organization, 299 Park Avenue is widely regarded as one of the top Class A office buildings in New York City.
