Unit at 633 Third Avenue Sold by Time Equities For More Than $9.3 Million
EVO Real Estate Group, a member of NAI Global, has represented the Zionist Organization of America in the purchase of a 10,105- square-foot office condominium at 633 Third Avenue. The price was in excess of $9.3 million.
Jonata Dayan, director of coop/condo sales for EVO Real Estate Group, and EVO broker Jonathan Ben Dayan represented the buyer. In-house broker Brandon Medeiros represented Time Equities, the seller.
Founded in 1897, the Zionist Organization of America is the oldest group in the U.S. promoting Zionism, which supports the Jewish national state of Israel. The organization is leaving its space at 4 East 34th Street, a building it sold earlier this year. Plans call for occupyingits new space in September.
“Theoffice condo appealed to its new owners on many levels: it has an efficient layout on one floor, the building has 24/7 security, it is close to Grand Central Terminal, and several other nonprofits are located there,” said Ms. Dayan. “Also, nonprofits that own commercial office condos are exempt from real estate taxes. This can lead to big savings per square foot on monthly expenditures.”
