Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein, one of the largest law firms in the United States has signed a long-term lease extension at Jack Resnick & Sons’ 250 Hudson Street in Midtown South’s Hudson Square neighborhood.
The lease encompasses 27,778 square feet on the entire 8th floor of the 15-story, 400,000 square-foot building and has been extended through 2029. The law firm has been located in this space since 2008 following the Resnick’s $40 million renovation of the property from an industrial printing building into a modern Class A office tower.
“Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein was one of the original tenants that committed to 250 Hudson Street after we re-developed the property over eight years ago, and we are delighted that they have chosen to remain here for another decade,” said Jonathan Resnick, President of Jack Resnick & Sons.

David Kleinhandler of CBRE represented Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein in the leasing transaction, while Dennis Brady and Brett Greenberg of Jack Resnick & Sons represented building ownership in-house.
250 Hudson Street is situated at the epicenter of New York’s creative community, where more than 50,000 professionals in the technology, advertising, media and information industries work in Hudson Square. Both LEED Silver and WiredScore Platinum certified, the building also features a penthouse level with a 10,000-square-foot award winning green roof offering 360-degree views of the Hudson River and the New York City skyline.
The Resnick’s are currently marketing 9,426 square-foot retail space on the ground level of the property, as well as a 15,823 square-foot office space on a portion of the 11th floor. The retail space, available immediately, features 25-foot ceiling heights and prominent visibility on the corner of Hudson Street and Broome Street. The office space, available in January 2017, features a wide -open floor plate with polished concrete floors.
